American Goddess
Life Theatre Limited presents a new play by Daniel David Webber, with music by Garry Abbott (www.theaudiomill.co.uk)
In July 1962, a young photographer gets the assignment of his dreams, three days alone with Marilyn Monroe. In a bid to capture ‘The Real Marilyn’, he will experience a rare glimpse of the woman behind the legend and the price of being a star. Not knowing, just four short weeks later, she would be dead.
Based on real events, ‘American Goddess’ is a funny, moving and fascinating portrayal of the woman everyone knew, but hardly knew at all. The beat starts...
Three days, one shot. American Goddess.
